About the Young Republicans

The Fairfield County Young Republicans (FCYR) is a local chapter of the Connecticut Young Republicans dedicated to empowering the next generation of conservative leaders in Fairfield County. Officially re-launched in early 2026, FCYR serves as a hub for young conservatives ages 18 to 40 who are interested in engaging in local politics, public policy, and community leadership.

FCYR is structured to encourage broad participation. Active Members are individuals between the ages of 18 and 40, Associate Members include those under 18 who are interested in civic engagement, and Honorary Members include supporters over the age of 40 who wish to mentor and support the organization.

The organization focuses on building grassroots political engagement across Fairfield County. Members participate in campaign deployments, phone banking, and door-to-door outreach to support Republican candidates and conservative causes. Beyond politics, FCYR is committed to developing the next generation of leaders by promoting professional opportunities such as political internships and networking with elected officials and party leaders.

Through civic engagement, advocacy, and community involvement, the Fairfield County Young Republicans aim to strengthen the conservative movement while preparing young leaders to shape the future of Connecticut.
